Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at the University of Miami Hospital - Cardiovascular Imaging. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for using ultrasound equipment to view and take pictures of patients' hearts and circulatory systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and explain procedures to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Perform quality control functions to ensure high-quality images
  • Evaluate ultrasounds for diagnostic quality and report results to physicians
  • Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques
  • Develop and match ultrasound film with appropriate paperwork for interpretation
  • Assist in maintenance and compilation of statistical data
  • Provide education and training to cardiac ultrasound technology students
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
