Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to work collaboratively with educators and parents to support students in overcoming barriers to learning. As a key member of our team, you will conduct assessments and develop personalized intervention plans to help students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address students' needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide training and support for school staff to enhance their understanding of occupational therapy practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress to inform future interventions.

Qualifications

  • OT degree and state licensure.
  • Understanding of school-based therapy practices and evidence-based interventions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.

Experience

  • New graduates with a passion for school-based therapy are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is a plus, but not required.
