Registered Nurse - Wound Care Specialist
Job Summary:Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - Wound Care Specialist to join our team. As a wound care travel nurse, you will provide specialized care for patients with diverse wound care needs, including diabetic foot wounds, vascular wounds, and pressure injuries.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality wound care to patients with complex wound needs
- Manage patient ratios and collaborate with the inpatient team to ensure seamless care
- Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate patient documentation
- Work independently with strong autonomy while maintaining a supportive team environment
- Float between inpatient and outpatient care as needed
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation process for the facility and unit
- Adhere to professional appearance standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wound care
- Wound care certification and ostomy certification (CWOCN) required
- Ability to perform ABIs, cast cutting, and nurse-level debridement
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no nights, weekends, or major holidays
