Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Application Security Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity initiatives at EnDyna. In this role, you will deliver robust security solutions tailored for our clientele, primarily consisting of federal government entities. Your expertise will be pivotal in executing security evaluations, conducting code assessments, performing penetration tests, and addressing vulnerabilities within their web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments and code evaluations for web and mobile applications, utilizing a variety of methodologies and tools.
  • Assess and prioritize security vulnerabilities, risks, and threats, providing actionable recommendations for mitigation.
  • Design and implement effective security strategies and solutions aligned with client specifications and expectations.
  • Deliver security training and awareness programs for clients and their personnel.
  • Stay informed on emerging security trends, tools, and technologies to ensure best practices are followed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in application security, web security, or penetration testing.
  • In-depth understanding of web and mobile application security principles, including OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25.
  • Proficient in utilizing security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, and ZAP.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards including NIST, ISO, and PCI.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP are advantageous.
