About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team at FIRST RF. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will design and develop active RF systems for our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software, firmware, and hardware within small teams
  • Strive for a system-level understanding of all design tasks
  • Contribute to system architecture and internal tooling
  • Learn and develop new skillsets with guidance from mentors and peers
Requirements
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (master's degree preferred) or equivalent
  • Experience architecting, developing, and deploying embedded firmware within a RTOS
  • Experience designing and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits
  • Proficiency in a technical programming language such as Python
  • Proficiency with common test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
Preferred Qualifications
  • FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or functional equivalent
  • Altium, or LTSpice
  • Experience with RF test equipment including phase noise analyzer, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, and power meters
