Job Summary

A skilled Fabrication Specialist works with a variety of materials to create new parts, equipment, and construction elements. Proficient handling of multiple types of metal and numerous fabrication tools are essential for success in this role. An ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with a team to complete large and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate new metal components in accordance with product data sheets and adhere to all applicable standards of safety and performance.
• Solve problems and develop innovative solutions to improve fabrication processes.
• Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard, ensuring a safe and operational work environment.
• Work independently or with a small team of other fabricators to complete large and complex projects, managing workflow, meeting deadlines, and troubleshooting problems on a daily basis.
• Employ physical strength and endurance to complete all fabrication tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to execute basic fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and follow product data sheets, specs sheets, and other product informational material.
• Familiarity with fabrication equipment and workshop safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• On-the-job experience in fabrication.
• A work history reflecting successfully completed projects.
