Job Summary

Caregivers at Aarris Homecare work independently in client homes or healthcare facilities, providing personal care and support to patients. This role involves traveling to clients' homes, assisting with daily living tasks, and providing companionship and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clients with social interaction, mental stimulation, and emotional support
  • Transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Support clients with transfers and ambulation
  • Remind clients to take medication
  • Prepare and cook meals for clients
Requirements
  • Experience working with dementia care, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's patients
  • Empathy and ability to care for clients' social, emotional, physical, and mental needs
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, kneel, or stand for extended periods

Salary: $20.00 per hour

License/Certification:

  • Current HCA (Home Care Aide) certification
