Job Summary
The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of thoracic imaging.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiothoracic imaging fellows and lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows and trainees from other departments.
- Clinical responsibilities may include interpretation of chest radiographs, thoracic CT and thoracic MRI. Performance of thoracic needle biopsies is preferred. There is an option to participate in the cardiovascular CT and MRI clinical practice.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities include leading a focused body of research in a field within thoracic imaging. This includes the application of imaging to detect, diagnose or evaluate diseases of the chest and studies of the clinical impact of imaging in the diagnosis of diseases in the chest.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with sub-specialty training in Cardiothoracic Radiology.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required.
