We are seeking a skilled Breast Imaging Specialist to operate under the clinical guidance of the Radiologist/Team Leader and the administrative oversight of the Site Manager, responsible for independently conducting breast imaging procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine and advanced breast imaging and examination procedures in accordance with company protocols.
  • Conduct necessary quality assurance procedures at specified intervals as required.
  • Guide and evaluate the technical performance of diagnostic technologists, providing assistance as necessary. Educate patients on breast self-examinations as needed.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of excellent patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a secondary Mammography registry with the ARRT by accumulating five ECE's annually specific to Mammography education. Exhibit proficiency in all relevant aspects of the CIS, RIS, and PACS.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned and/or work in various areas to accommodate company staffing requirements.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program
Registered with the ARRT, along with certification in Mammography from the ARRT
Experience in Digital Mammography is essential

Requirements:
Willingness to work at multiple site locations within the designated area.
The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively interact with physicians, patients, colleagues, and management.
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in Mammography
Certification in Basic Life Support
Possession of a valid Driver's License
