We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Tradesmen International, Inc. in the Rochester, NY area.
Job SummaryThis is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level.
Key Responsibilities- Determine the layout for plumbing and related materials
- Identify required tools and special equipment
- Install, repair, and maintain sinks, showers, toilets, water heaters and conditioners, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and trim
- Troubleshoot and fix problems for service accounts
- Remove old HVAC equipment and install new systems
- Run pipe and duct work
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Perform appropriate HVAC system repairs, recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly
- Perform energy efficiency upgrades for AC and refrigeration, such as installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts
- Explain maintenance procedures to customers and provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service calls
- Refrigeration knowledge
