Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining a Safe and Secure Environment:
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for associates and customers by identifying and addressing potential safety issues.
  • Monitor store entrances and exits to prevent theft and fraud.
  • Remove clutter and ensure safe, clear egress to emergency exits.
Developing Great Teams and Partnerships:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Treat all customers and associates with respect and professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the store team and external partners.
Mitigating Theft and Fraud:
  • Monitor store entrances and exits for potential theft and fraud.
  • Identify and address suspicious behavior and gather theft indicators.
  • Communicate effectively with store leadership and loss prevention leadership.
Minimizing Operational Shortage:
  • Identify and address opportunities to minimize operational shortage.
  • Train and educate associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
  • One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
  • Active Security Guard License preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
  • Must be able to raise or lower objects more than 25 lbs., from one level to another.
