About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner - MAT Specialist to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients struggling with opioid dependence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations of referred patients, adhering to clinic treatment policies and all relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to medical staff, participate in case conferences, and collaborate with clinic personnel on treatment plans.
  • Respond promptly to health emergencies following standard protocols, review records as necessary, and utilize available resources for problem resolution.
  • Perform comprehensive medical assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations, to diagnose opioid dependence and coexisting medical or psychiatric disorders.
  • Prescribe tailored patient care regimens, upholding confidentiality standards and contributing insights to facility committees upon request.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Advanced degree in an approved and accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner within the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • DATA 2000 Waiver prior to employment.
