Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure and platform.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new features and services
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and design sessions to ensure technical excellence
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance team productivity and efficiency
- Contribute to the growth and development of junior engineers, providing guidance and mentorship
- 10+ years of professional software experience, with at least 2 years in a role focused on infrastructure/platform engineering
- Proven track record of driving technical excellence through process improvements, tooling, and best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in fast-paced environments
- Ownership mindset, with a focus on responsibility and accountability
- Passion for education and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of millions of children
- Ability to work in a pair programming environment and contribute to a world-class engineering culture
- Competitive salary range: $146,000 - $207,500 (USD)
