Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based medical care by assessing, directing, and managing patient health needs.
  • Diagnose and treat chronic conditions and urgent health issues, including minor injuries and illnesses.
  • Order and analyze laboratory and diagnostic tests as required.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive interdisciplinary care.
  • Refer patients to other healthcare providers when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.

Qualifications

  • Valid state Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification.
  • Active state DEA registration.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Minimum of five years of nursing experience; at least two years as a nurse practitioner preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities with accountability for daily tasks.
  • Proficient in using medical instruments and equipment.
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license with appropriate automobile insurance.
  • Capability to engage in moderate physical activities, such as lifting objects up to 25 lbs and standing or walking for extended periods.
