Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Omex. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Environmental Services: Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and free of debris, including dust mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing, and cleaning restrooms.
- Waste Management: Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and recycle receptacles, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
- Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including polishing furniture, cleaning elevators and stairwells, and notifying supervisors of equipment and facilities needing repair or replacement.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dusting and cleaning walls, doors, windows, and other above-floor surfaces.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment, as well as the ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength.
- Communication and Teamwork: Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions, and establish and maintain working relations with supervisors and fellow workers.
