Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Designing, analyzing, and verifying complex bridge structures.
  • Leading the structural design and detailing of bridge components with guidance from Project Managers and Senior Engineers.
  • Overseeing the development of design reports, investigations, contract plans, project specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Participating in construction project oversight, including reviewing RFIs, shop drawings, and conducting site visits.
  • Assisting Project Managers and mentoring entry-level engineers.
  • Supporting proposal development and reviewing construction specifications and special provisions.
  • Collaborating with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and fabricators as necessary.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer in one or more states.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to delegate tasks and supervise junior engineers.
  • Proficiency in producing both internal and external project correspondence.
