About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at First Coast Energy. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our convenience store and retail fuel site in Asheville.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Supervise the daily performance of all store associates, process customer transactions, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Leadership: Recruit, hire, and train store personnel, schedule associates according to store needs and labor budget, and create and submit daily store reports.
  • Financial Management: Monitor P&L reports to reach expected margins, collect and submit fuel price survey data, and reconcile and prepare bank deposits.
  • Inventory Management: Control cash handling, merchandise, and fuel inventories, and order product to keep shelves fully stocked.
  • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service, resolve customer concerns, and maintain site cleanliness and appearance standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; secondary degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years retail management or related experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Safely lift 55+ lbs. and carry short distances, stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours, and ability to climb a step ladder, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and kneel.
  • Skills: Excellent communication in English (hear, speak, read, & write), basic computer proficiency including email & Microsoft Office Suite, and superior leadership and teamwork skills.
