About the Job:
This position requires one year of RN experience in an ICU setting. If you have less than one year of experience, please search for positions titled "RN Resident" to start the application process.
The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is a 15-bed unit that serves patients from eleven different surgical services. As a member of our team, you will have opportunities for learning and professional development in a critical-care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
- Assist physicians in examining patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
- Administer medication as prescribed and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver patient care competently and interact with family and patient in sharing care plans.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Salary:
$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
