Position Overview: We are looking for a committed ICU RN for a contract role. This position involves providing care for patients in critical condition, including those impacted by severe health issues.
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
Status: Accepting Candidates
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced skills in ventilator management and critical care drips.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient understanding of cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems.
- Ability to perform advanced procedures such as intubations and cardioversions.
- Experience with managing intra-aortic balloon pumps and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
- Competence in patient proning techniques.
Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is advantageous
