Position Overview

Job Title: Hospitality Supervisor

Role Summary:

This position serves as a key link between management and staff, overseeing the opening and closing of retail operations as required. Responsibilities include cash management, task delegation, and ensuring service areas are meticulously prepared to provide exceptional guest experiences.

The Hospitality Supervisor will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of 20 or more student associates, with ongoing managerial support. This role is highly interactive and requires hands-on supervision.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in food service operations
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with food service techniques, sanitation, and safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a higher education environment
  • Serv-Safe Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Experience with cash handling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
