About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Factory Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance required to maintain our industrial equipment and facility at an optimal level of operation with an emphasis on mechanical power transmission, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform corrective maintenance on equipment
  • Carry out routine checks on production equipment
  • Carry out regular preventive maintenance on equipment following standards and allotted time for completion
  • Diagnose and repair or replace worn parts in machines and equipment

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong working knowledge of mechanical power transmission, hydraulics and pneumatics, welding and fabricating, pipe fitting, and construction trades
  • Must possess strong communication skills, analytical abilities and the ability to multi-task
