Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist at ThedaCare is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized plans of care to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a full range of services and participate in team-based continuous improvement
* Delegate appropriately to physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides to support patient needs while maintaining accountability for the care plan
* Complete accurate and timely documentation of services provided in accordance with professional and compliance standards to ensure accurate billing and coding to maximize reimbursement and compliance
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of physical therapy
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* License to practice as a physical therapist in the State of Wisconsin
Work Environment:
The Physical Therapist will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens, sharp objects, and hazardous materials. The ideal candidate will be able to move freely and lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds without assistance.
