Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in Labor and Delivery, with a focus on LDRP, OR circulation and recovery, and couplet care post-recovery. The ideal candidate will be certified in BLS, NRP, and AWHONN intermediate or advanced certifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients in Labor and Delivery, including LDRP, OR circulation and recovery, and couplet care post-recovery.
  • Titrate drips such as Pitocin and Insulin as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the Charge Nurse/House Supervisor to manage cases with lower acuity.
  • Experience with OBIX EFM System.
  • Participate in scheduling and staffing decisions to ensure adequate coverage and patient care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Certified in BLS, NRP, and AWHONN intermediate or advanced certifications.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, days and nights, with additional call required to cover intermittent LOAs and vacations.
  • Ability to work every other to every third weekend and half of the holidays switching every year.
