Ruth's Chris Steak House is seeking a skilled Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction with every visit.
Key Responsibilities- Take and record food and beverage orders from guests accurately and efficiently.
- Process orders using our point-of-sale system, ensuring all items are prepared and served on a timely basis.
- Ensure all food and beverages delivered and served meet our quality and presentation standards.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding promptly to guest needs and requests.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Communicate effectively with the Manager-On-Duty regarding guest concerns or dissatisfaction.
- Close station only upon direction from the Manager-On-Duty, completing all closing duties in a timely manner.
- Excellent guest service skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
- Ability to take orders quickly and accurately.
- Ability to lift, handle, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
The Server will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with exposure to loud noises, fumes, odors, dust, and smoke. Temperature extremes may range from working near 1800-degree Fahrenheit to working in a walk-in freezer of -10 degree Fahrenheit.
