Job Description:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Legend Senior Living, you will be responsible for supporting clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning, and supervising the nursing staff. You will play a crucial role in ensuring residents receive excellent direct care and making a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train nursing staff to ensure quality of care
  • Verify proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments, and orders
  • Participate in regular resident assessments and service planning, following up with ancillary healthcare services as needed
  • Assist with move-in and move-out processes, including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
  • Provide direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or on-call rotations
  • Relay resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager
Requirements:
  • Current LPN nursing license
  • CPR certification as required by the state
  • Prefers at least 1 year of prior relevant experience
  • Prefers previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living
