As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the exceptional reputation of Salem's Fresh Eats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Thorough Inspections: Regularly inspect all areas of our restaurants, including kitchens, dining spaces, and storage facilities, to guarantee cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor Compliance: Verify that food safety guidelines are strictly followed, ingredients are handled and stored appropriately, and sanitation procedures are maintained.
  • Evaluate Performance: Assess the quality of food preparation and service, ensuring dishes meet our established standards for presentation and taste.
  • Report Findings: Document inspection results meticulously and prepare comprehensive reports outlining any issues identified. Communicate these findings to management promptly.
  • Drive Improvement: Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement effective corrective action plans for identified areas of concern. Monitor the success of these initiatives.
  • Provide Training and Guidance: Offer support and guidance to all employees, ensuring they understand and adhere to our restaurant policies. Conduct training sessions as needed on best practices for food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Stay Informed: Remain current on local, state, and federal regulations and industry trends to ensure our restaurants remain fully compliant with all relevant laws and standards.
  • Address Customer Feedback: Investigate customer complaints related to food quality, cleanliness, or service. Work with staff to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong commitment to quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food safety or health inspection is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a similar role within the food service industry for more than 5 years.
