Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Oversight: Assist the Nurse Manager in providing leadership and oversight to the department/unit, ensuring that patient care standards are met and exceeded.
- Staff Evaluation and Development: Assist in the evaluation of staff, develop and implement standards of care, and participate in providing and monitoring staff competencies.
- Coaching and Development: Actively coach and develop staff, serving as a role model for effective communication skills and problem-solving techniques.
- Resource Management: Assist with managing the provision of adequate resources, including the equitable distribution of work and matching of assigned provider competency to patient needs.
- Process Improvement: Facilitate processes to improve patient throughput throughout the organization.
- Operational and Budgetary Management: Work with the Nurse Manager to identify and resolve operational/budgetary, patient, and personnel issues.
- Education: Bachelor's in Nursing.
- Licensure: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in related clinical areas.
- Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
