Position Overview
Compensation: $19/hour with comprehensive benefits package
Shift: Night Shift
As part of our ongoing expansion, we are in search of committed and enthusiastic Logistics Associates with Forklift expertise. In this role, you will be tasked with general labor, warehouse upkeep, and the safe loading and unloading of materials utilizing a pallet jack, hand truck, or forklift. The Logistics Associate will also play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently load, unload, pick, store, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or other powered equipment.
- Adhere to specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily tasks and promptly record indirect time.
- Document receipts on the appropriate forms and/or log books.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation is attached.
- Support all operational processes and procedures to provide value to customers and comply with all company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Inspect each pallet or case for accurate quantities, item brands, and lot codes (if applicable), and report any damages while following special instructions.
- Communicate issues, concerns, and suggestions to management, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly workspace.
- Help ensure the security of the warehouse by conducting operations in a safe manner.
- Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines.
- Perform forklift operations and learn to containerize basic loads.
- Develop and sustain excellent customer service for both internal and external clients.
- Assist with various warehouse maintenance tasks, including cleaning floors and organizing equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Proficient in operating a forklift and capable of meeting medium-level physical exertion requirements, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Basic mathematical and reading skills are necessary to perform job tasks and complete required paperwork.
- Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
- We seek Forklift Operators who are dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious, with a strong work ethic.
- Must work well in a team environment and be willing to work extended hours when necessary.

In this role, employees may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and may occasionally encounter extreme temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. Candidates should not have any lifting restrictions and must be comfortable with heights. Tolerance for varying temperature levels and occasional adverse driving conditions is also required.
