Job Overview:

The Department of Kinesiology, a world-renowned leader in human movement study, invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position. This role will contribute to delivering undergraduate and graduate curricula, with a potential focus on an emerging 4+1 BS/MS program in strength and conditioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach student-centered learning experiences in-person and online, with a typical course load of 3-4 courses per semester.
  • Participate in department, school, and university committees as assigned by the department chair.
  • Develop innovative pedagogical approaches and collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum.

Requirements:

  • A master's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
  • Content expertise in strength and conditioning, human performance, data analytics, or other areas that align with the department's strengths.
  • Previous teaching experience as instructor on record for academic courses, with potential for excellent teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Translational, hands-on experience in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or closely related fields.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with evidence of promoting diversity and inclusion in teaching.
