We offer an estimated hourly rate of $22.00, with part-time employment opportunities available.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care activities, including dressing, undressing, showering, and bed baths.
- Monitor and obtain vital signs, temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, O2 saturation, height, weight, and 12 lead EKG.
- Administer oxygen therapy, including set-up and monitoring, under RN supervision.
- Collect specimen samples, including venipuncture, under RN supervision.
- Provide nutritional support by passing and collecting diet trays and nourishment, setting up trays and adaptive feeding equipment, feeding patients or assisting as necessary.
- Support patients' elimination needs by assisting with bed pan/urinal, bowel/bladder retaining, collection of test specimens, perineal and catheter care, and emptying drainage devices.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a school of professional/registered nursing, completion of two semesters of clinical rotation.
- Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved ECMC provider within sixty days of appointment and maintenance throughout duration of appointment.
