We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at STGi. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients, performing functions in accordance with current accepted practice, licensure, certification, credentialing, and granted privileges.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides treatment of persons throughout the life span as appropriate to discipline and facility setting.
  • Prescribes and monitors psychiatric medication treatment services, including monitoring the side effects of medication and/or adverse reactions.
  • Offers comprehensive psycho-educational information with each medication/somatic treatment regarding the patient's mental illness, emotional disturbance, or behavior disorder, treatment goals, potential benefits, and the risk of treatment.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from a school in the United States or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted licensed to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to pass a federal government security background check.
