Position:

Information Security Analyst

Location:

Linthicum Heights, MD

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administers and coordinates security initiatives to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies with minimal oversight.
  • Provides guidance and support to team members regarding security-related administrative tasks, including personnel security, information security, physical security, and compliance with security protocols.
  • Manages the administrative aspects of classified material, including its receipt, distribution, and inventory.
  • Oversees the Document Control program.
  • Evaluates applications for security clearances and renewals.
  • Implements and maintains physical security measures for visitor management and safeguarding company assets.
  • Develops and delivers security training and briefings.
  • Ensures the protection of classified and proprietary information through oversight of relevant programs.
  • Assists in the management of visitor certifications and security protocols.
  • Processes incoming security requests through appropriate channels.
  • Conducts regular inspections to verify compliance with physical security measures and performs daily checks.
  • Contributes to the formulation and review of standard operating procedures and continuous improvement strategies for secure facilities.
  • Creates and processes access credentials for new employees.
  • Prepares onboarding materials and training resources for new hires.
  • Collaborates with partners for visitor registration and management during significant meetings.
Required Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years, Master’s degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in managing security systems such as DISS, NBIS, and e-QIP, along with Continuous Enrollment programs.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Federal and DoD security regulations.
  • Experience with security management tools and software, including CCTV, Access Control, and Risk Assessment tools.
  • Knowledge of SCIF Accreditation is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to obtain DoD SPeD certification within one year of employment.
