We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team as a Travel Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Putnam, Connecticut. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact while exploring a new location and advancing your career.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with various physical therapy needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating a range of modalities and techniques to address specific patient goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care, facilitating communication and coordination among healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, adhering to regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in physical therapy.
- Degree from an accredited physical therapy program and licensure to practice in the state of Connecticut.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an acute or subacute setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
