Position Overview:
This is a temporary, full-time summer student internship working 40 hours a week. If you're interested in civil engineering and seeking valuable experience and growth opportunities to propel your career after graduation, this position may be the ideal fit for you. As a civil engineering student intern, you'll work alongside our professional engineering staff on various projects, from complex urban developments to high-profile university and commercial projects. You'll collaborate with engineering team members across multiple disciplines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll also have opportunities for site visits and construction observation.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be part of a world-class engineering team, bringing high-quality designs to life for our clients. This position will expose you to most aspects of civil engineering, from stormwater and utility infrastructure design to site planning. Your excellent communication skills will be utilized, as you'll coordinate and collaborate with various professionals.

Qualifications:
  • Completed at least a sophomore year of a civil engineering degree program
  • Basic knowledge of Civil 3D or other engineering design software
  • At least one year of experience in the civil engineering industry and a valid driver's license are a plus

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States, without requiring sponsorship for an employment-based visa

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
You'll work in a professional, climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels and consistent exposure to light. Workstations are in an open space layout with frequent collaboration and interactions from coworkers throughout the day. You'll be required to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, as well as occasionally access client or construction sites with varying terrain.
