Key Responsibilities- Engage in the month-end and year-end closing processes for the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Oversee and reconcile daily bank account transactions.
- Gather and scrutinize financial data to create entries for accounts, including general ledger accounts, while documenting business transactions.
- Review, analyze, and prepare accounting records, financial documents, or other financial reports to evaluate their accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting and procedural standards.
- Prepare and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet items such as cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accruals, including investigating any unusual variances or unexpected activities.
- Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and generate periodic reports comparing budgeted expenses to actual expenditures.
- Analyze financial, sales, and activity reports or other performance metrics to assess productivity and goal attainment, identifying areas for cost reduction or process enhancement.
- Support quarterly and year-end financial audit processes.
- Contribute to various projects to assist management.
- Safeguard the organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality of information.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in process enhancement, employee training, and establishing effective policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
