Responsibilities:
As a Neuro Telemetry Nurse at CommonSpirit Health, you will be an integral part of a specialized team focused on delivering exceptional care to patients with complex neurological conditions.
Your role will involve monitoring patients with various neurological disorders, including but not limited to traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and spinal conditions. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive neurological and physical assessments to identify changes in patient status.
- Monitoring vital signs and neurological parameters, including external ventricular drains and intracranial pressure.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
Current RN license in Arizona or a Compact RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Professional certification in a relevant specialty
At least one year of recent experience in an acute care setting.
