Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in Skilled Nursing. As a key member of our care team, you will provide direct resident care and supervision of non-licensed team members, ensuring the highest degree of quality care and service.
Responsibilities- Provide direct resident care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of non-licensed team members, ensuring that resident care needs are met.
- Collaborate with family members and consulting physicians to ensure residents' needs are being attended to in a personalized way.
- Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance, promoting a culture of excellence in resident care.
- Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Graduate of an approved college/school of nursing.
- Current state license as a Practical Nurse/Vocational Nurse.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in long term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, and/or full service operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods as applied to skilled nursing and resident care.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local long term care regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, possess written and verbal skills for effective communication, and demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
