Position Overview

In response to expanding needs, GSP is assisting a prominent Food Manufacturer/Processor in their search for a Food Safety and Quality Manager. This pivotal role involves overseeing plant operations, production strategies, and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational capabilities to maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enhance plant operations and production planning.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team to foster a culture of safety and quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience in USDA MEAT environments is essential, with a preference for poultry.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in FOOD/BEVERAGE Manufacturing is required.
  • Familiarity with GFSI standards such as SQF, BRC, and FSSC22K.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and PCQI principles.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
