Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive legal counsel to clients facing bankruptcy, offering strategic advice and guidance on a range of bankruptcy-related issues.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, mediation sessions, and negotiations with creditors.
• Drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as petitions, schedules, and motions.
• Conducting thorough research and analysis of legal issues and case law to support legal proceedings and policy decisions.
• Advising clients on the implications of bankruptcy, including potential effects on credit, property, and future financial stability.
• Managing client relationships, ensuring that clients are informed and updated on case progress, and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
• Collaborating with our legal team to develop effective strategies for client representation and case management.
• Staying updated with changes in bankruptcy and foreclosure laws and regulations and participating in ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bankruptcy Attorney.
• Active member of the state bar in good standing.
• Proven track record of representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and client management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
