Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at ScionHealth. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in the recovery process for patients with chronic, critically ill, and medically complex conditions.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse / RN, you will be responsible for providing planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary staff to develop a comprehensive nursing care plan that addresses the unique needs of each patient.

You will communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate, ensuring seamless care coordination. Your participation in the discharge planning process will also ensure a smooth transition for patients back to their homes or communities.

Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing as Registered Nurse / RN or Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program as a Registered Nurse / RN.
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN.
  • BCLS certification is required. ACLS preferred.
  • Minimum six months as a Registered nurse / RN with Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, reflecting the challenging nature of this position and the expertise required to succeed in this field.
