Position Details:

  • Part-time position requiring 16 hours per week, with shifts from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Compensation:

Hourly rate of $22.65, with an additional weekend shift differential of $1.25 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide resident care in accordance with the Resident Assessment and Support Plan (RASP), under the guidance of the Charge Nurse or supervisory personnel.
  2. Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring safety and respecting individual preferences.
  3. Support residents with communication, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space.
  4. Engage residents in activities as needed.
  5. Adhere to policies and procedures related to resident care.
  6. Assist in the dining area by serving meals and beverages, and supporting residents with meal choices.
  7. Manage supply orders and ensure accurate charging of supplies using the electronic system.
  8. Follow safety policies and procedures for team members.
  9. Conduct resident transfers in accordance with established policies.
  10. Report any changes in residents' conditions to the Charge Nurse promptly.
  11. Maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout the facility, complying with federal and state regulations.
  12. Accurately obtain and document vital signs and other health metrics.
  13. Ensure residents present a neat and clean appearance.
  14. Assist with admission, transfer, discharge, and post-mortem care procedures.
  15. Participate in required meetings.
  16. Comply with quality assurance and infection control standards.
  17. Document accurately in both electronic and paper records.
  18. Adhere to Corporate Compliance Plan and HIPAA Privacy standards.
  19. Administer medications and complete treatments as per physician's orders, following pharmacy policies.
  20. Perform additional duties as required by facility needs.

Physical and Composure Requirements:

  1. This position involves various physical activities, including frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing, walking, and maintaining balance.
  2. Must demonstrate composure and professionalism in stressful situations involving residents or staff.
