Position Overview:
Radiance Technologies, a dynamic and employee-owned organization, is seeking a qualified Aegis Weapons System Expert to enhance our team.
The selected candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Aegis Weapon System (AWS), contributing to the advancement of the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Architectures for the Guam Defense System (GDS) Joint Project Office (JPO).
This role involves the creation of Concepts of Operation (CONOPS) and capability requirements for the integration of weapon systems, sensors, and fire control mechanisms from various domains into the Joint IAMD architecture. Additionally, the expert will assist the GDS Chief Engineer in the seamless integration of the AWS into the Joint IAMD framework.
The incumbent will be responsible for delivering regular program evaluations and technical presentations to government and enterprise stakeholders. Responsibilities also include collaboration across multiple teams, including the Missile Defense Agency, U.S. Navy, and other services and stakeholders to establish requirements for planning, execution, and feedback on Joint IAMD concepts and capabilities.Essential Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
A minimum of three years of experience presenting to leadership at the Military O6 or government GS-15 or higher level.
U.S. citizenship with the capacity to obtain a security clearance.
Possession of an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred).
Education and Experience:
Education:
A minimum of four years of education beyond high school from an accredited institution in business, secretarial, technical fields, junior college, college, or university.
At least three years of experience in analyzing Aegis Weapon System integration and system performance.OR
Specialized Experience that includes 1) Six or more years of experience in analyzing Aegis Weapon System integration and system performance; AND 2) Three or more years of experience with AEGIS doctrine and AEGIS doctrine statements.
OR
A combination of Education and Experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in conducting capabilities analysis for military acquisition programs.
Completion of Joint Professional Military Education (Phase 1 and Phase 2).
Operational experience with the AWS and Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC).
Experience within the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems.
Service on an AEGIS ship or AEGIS Ashore station in roles such as AEGIS Fire Control Chief Petty Officer, Systems Test Officer, Weapons Officer, Combat Systems Officer, Executive Officer, and/or Commanding Officer.
