About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team in Sheridan, Indiana. This role involves the final assembly of large CNC machines, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools.

The assembler will spend the bulk of their time putting the machine together piece by piece after it is received from the weld shop, then performing the final quality steps including administering body filler, sanding, priming, painting, and wrapping the product for shipment.

This position offers a great opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and develop your skills as an assembler.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble large CNC machines using hand and power tools.
  • Perform final quality checks, including administering body filler, sanding, priming, painting, and wrapping the product for shipment.
  • Ensure all parts are correctly assembled based on customer specifications.
  • Maintain a commitment to safety and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong technical learning abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Benefits

  • $22.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience.
