Cancer Clinical Research Coordinator 2 Job Description

Stanford University is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Coordinator 2 to join our team at the Stanford Cancer Institute. As a Clinical Research Coordinator 2, you will play a critical role in supporting the conduct of clinical trials in gynecologic oncology and cellular therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee subject recruitment and study enrollment goals, developing effective strategies to promote and retain research participants.
  • Manage data collection and reporting for research projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with principal investigators and study sponsors to monitor and report serious adverse events, and resolve study queries.
  • Provide leadership in determining and implementing improvements to policies and processes, defining best practices.
  • Develop and manage study budgets, identifying standard of care versus study procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience in clinical research, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, research protocols, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and FDA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with oncology clinical research studies, particularly in blood and marrow transplant or cellular therapy.
