As a vital member of our kitchen team, you will:
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas.
- Keep a daily sanitation log for dishwashing and pot washing stations.
- Ensure all work areas are prepared and communicate any readiness issues.
- Support our sustainability initiatives by properly recycling materials.
- Be proactive in energy conservation by turning off unused lights and reporting leaks.
- Prioritize safety by monitoring high-traffic areas to prevent accidents.
- Utilize appropriate dish and glass racks to prevent damage during cleaning.
- Efficiently clean and sanitize equipment during slower periods.
- Learn various kitchen tasks and develop new skills.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in other areas as needed.
- Engage with guests and colleagues with a friendly demeanor.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in dishwashing or kitchen support roles.
- A positive attitude and a desire to interact with others.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Effective communication skills.
- The capability to lift and move loads of at least 25 lbs.
