Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Mavis Tire Supply in Clio, MI. As a key member of our undercar repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems
• Perform brake, suspension, and tire repairs
• Complete state-mandated inspections
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance
• Have an extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs

Preferred Qualifications

State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) are preferred.
