Position Summary


The Sales Associate role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional customer service, aligning with our Mission and Core Values, driving sales, maintaining store cleanliness, merchandising, pricing, and operating the cash register (POS), while also supporting the management team.

Sales Associates embody our customer-first philosophy, playing a crucial role in providing an outstanding shopping experience.


Reports To: Store Manager, Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by fostering a welcoming environment, greeting and acknowledging every customer, and maintaining high standards of service and product knowledge.
  • Stay informed about product details, promotional activities, and advertising initiatives.
  • Assist with store layout changes, merchandising, display upkeep, and overall store cleanliness.
  • Support the processing and restocking of merchandise; engage in receiving and monitoring inventory; ensure timely execution of procedures.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and practices, including pricing and loss prevention protocols.
  • Accurately process all sales transactions and maintain proper cash handling at POS registers.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by store management as needed.
  • Relay customer feedback and requests to management.

Essential Qualifications

  • Familiarity with retail computer systems, as well as MS Word and Excel is advantageous.
  • A strong commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle merchandise weighing up to 60 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb as necessary.
