Overview:

MorseLife Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate to uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of cleaning tasks in both office spaces and communal areas, ensuring a pristine and inviting atmosphere for all staff and visitors.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing.
  • Maintain all types of flooring using suitable cleaning equipment.
  • Notify the supervisor of any maintenance needs regarding equipment or furnishings.
  • Ensure custodial and utility areas are tidy and well-organized.
  • Sanitize and clean various locations such as restrooms, corridors, and break rooms.
  • Care for carpeted areas through vacuuming and spot cleaning.
  • Perform additional cleaning tasks such as washing walls, windows, and woodwork.
  • Assist in moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as necessary.
  • Prepare tables and chairs for meetings and events.
  • Support laundry operations as needed.
  • Comply with all safety protocols while executing responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to follow directions and work autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to perform various physical activities including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift weights up to 100 pounds on occasion.
  • Good vision and manual dexterity are essential.
