Role Summary

As a Senior Manufacturing Sustainability Engineer, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing manufacturing methodologies across Kohler's global operations. Your leadership will be pivotal in steering projects that align with strategic objectives and Kohler's commitment to achieving "Net Zero" sustainability goals.

This role necessitates a blend of strategic foresight, project oversight, process innovation, stakeholder collaboration, and analytical skills to ensure the seamless incorporation of capital equipment and manufacturing systems within our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Direct cross-functional teams to implement significant strategic manufacturing initiatives. Formulate project blueprints, set timelines, and track progress to guarantee the timely achievement of goals.
  • Investment Analysis: Guide project teams in assessing production and financial implications for capital investments while ensuring the integration of sustainable alternatives for final evaluation.
  • Technological Advancement: Remain updated on emerging manufacturing and alternative energy technologies, as well as industry best practices. Engage with innovation teams to pilot new technologies and integrate successful outcomes into production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (preferably mechanical engineering) from an accredited program.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Engineering Project Management, emphasizing process enhancement and development.
  • Proficient project management capabilities with the aptitude to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial attributes.
