The data entry technician will support various tasks related to inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering and entering unaccounted inventory into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborating with project teams to obtain purchase order data for material procurement.
- Working closely with the Inventory department to gather current inventory data.
- Participating in generating spares and providing justifications with the maintenance team, as well as interfacing with vendors to obtain lead times and quotes.
- Validating warehouse materials with the maintenance team.
About 50% of the time, the specialist will be required to travel to local plant and field locations to gather inventory. The area of coverage includes Midland, Orla, Mentone, and Monahan in Texas, as well as Carlsbad in New Mexico.
The length of stay at each site may vary, and the specialist may be paired with a team member for local travel or an employee for remote locations.
Requirements:
- General office skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team (5+ years of experience)
- A background in mechanics and familiarity with rotating equipment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
The estimated salary for this position is approximately $60,000 per year, based on industry standards for similar roles in the Midland, TX area.
